X-40 Winner On Saturday 2 April the final race of the Goofies was sailed.
For the Escape/Argenta Sailing Team this race was a check-up to see how our new X-40 "X" was doing against the best IMS racers in the south of Holland.
Great surprise - even under the light wind conditions, which should be in favour of the lighter racing yachts, we could
keep up with two well sailed IMX 40s and kept all other competitors far behind. Among them ex European IMS champion "Checkmate III", two Grand Soleil 40s, a J-133 and another IMX 40.
