X-35 “Fra Martina” at the Naval Academy Trophy

Only an early start prevented the X-35 “Fra Martina” from being the overall winner of the Naval Academy Trophy in the IRC division.

After an extraordinary debut at Alassio in the IMS races, the owner wanted to challenge the IRC world in one of the most competitive Italian IRC events.

In a fleet of 36 competitive yachts, “Fra Martina” scored three first places; one fifth place and one OCS, with a final second place overall, which was only 0.5 points from the winner.
The Italian X-35 “Fra Martina” has shown herself to be very competitive under IRC, in medium light wind conditions.

The next event, in which “Fra Martina” will participate,
is the X-Yachts Elba Cup.
