Great success for the X’s in Maior

Eight races, sailed in three days in very changeable weather conditions, during the Maior Cup, provided an exciting start to the 2006 racing season.

In IMS Class 1, the IMX 40 “Moonshine”, helmed by Mathias Müller von Blumencron, came in first. The IMX 40s “Sixty 4” and “Dolce Vita” ranked 4th and 5th out of seventeen entrants in this Class.

In IMS Class 2, the X-332 Sport "patent3" of former X-99 Class President, Jürgen Klinghardt, was in first place, closely followed by the German X-Yachts dealer, Oliver Leu, in his X-37 “CG MER”.
